Course Description

The Listening Skills component is designed for candidates tackling the IELTS General Training (GT) Test, focusing on understanding IELTS Listening Task Types and practicing exam techniques under timed conditions to boost confidence and ensure task completion. Independent Learning Tasks (ILT) post-lesson further develop listening skills, with Progress Tests for assessment. Similarly, the Reading Skills component for the General Training examines the format and scoring system, emphasizing effective question answering and regular timed practice to enhance confidence. Post-lesson ILTs allow for additional practice. The Writing Skills componentfor the General Training Writing, scrutinises the writing format and scoring system, emphasising regular exam practice under timed conditions and self-assessment techniques. Feedback and scores from Progress Tests aid in writing process development. Lastly, the Speaking Skills component addresses the IELTS Speaking Exam Format and common topics, with a focus on building topic vocabulary and overall fluency and confidence through practice tests and feedback sessions with an experienced examiner assessing vocabulary, grammar, fluency, and pronunciation.
